MEMORIES OF POTENTIAL

This is the recorded version of Dalian’s Adofo’s presentation at the 39th Annual Conference for the Association of the Study of Classical African Civilisations (ASCAC) held April 28th to May 6th 2023.

‘Memories of Potential’ covers the budding potential and abilities inherent as beings of energy, that even with the damaging and long-standing adverse impact of the centuries long Maafa (the African Holocaust) and ongoing systemic oppression and exploitation can be tapped into for current use.

It correlates Cosmological concepts of Personhood, community and existence with Quantum science theories and laws to highlight a need for a re-conceptualisation of how we perceive and understand ‘Potential’ – as an energetic cause and its physical effects. It is examined as an in-dwelling force that connects us to Ancestral traits and skillsets, Natural Flows and modes of communicating, keys to enhancing our perceptions and broadening our awareness.
