A seminar series produced during UK Black History Month to explore the range of possibilities African Spirituality offers across various sections of society.
Part 1 - A Socio-Political Case:
Explores and discusses the need for implementing necessary legal reforms and policies to protect and preserve African & Diasporic Traditions and their devotees, from religious bigots and institutional frameworks designed to distort and demonise them.
Part 2 - A Socio-Economic Case:
Analyses the inherent value of African Spirituality in its corpus and knowledge systems and its potential for transforming our socio-economic landscapes, including, adding value to African/Black creators and creations, advancing thought and social systems and widening the appreciation of traditions globally.
Part 3 - A Socio-Developmental Case:
Investigates the potential African Cosmologies have for sparking creativity, driving motivation and productivity as well as maintaining wellbeing, not just for individuals but as essential building blocks for collective wellbeing.
